Whale Watching Experience

Whale Area: Journey towards the underwater canyon of Bleik, renowned for its rich marine biodiversity, including the magnificent sperm whale. Along the way, encounter a variety of other whale species, such as long-finned pilot whales, minke whales, orcas, humpback whales, and more.

Return Journey: Enjoy a hot meal of delicious fish soup or vegetarian soup with bread as we head back to Andenes. Reflect on the day’s experiences while taking in the breathtaking landscapes and potential wildlife encounters.

Arctic Birds and Seals: Keep an eye out for Arctic birds, including Northern Fulmars and Atlantic puffins, as they soar around the boat or head towards Bleik Island for nesting. You may also spot harbor seals resting on nearby rocks as we return to the harbor.

Whale Guarantee

While our safari success rate is exceptionally high at around 98%, we understand that wildlife encounters can vary. In the rare event that we fail to spot any whales, we offer a whale guarantee. Guests interested can join another safari free of charge, subject to availability (not redeemable for cash). Simply contact reception after the trip to rebook.

Our catamaran-type boats can accommodate a maximum of 80 passengers. Wheelchairs can also be accommodated with prior inquiry. Groups are encouraged to contact us in advance.
